Designers can tell you which products will work better, last longer,  and coordinate aesthetically. They can provide contractors that they have worked with many times and who are reliable, skilled, and considerate. Many people today are very busy, and a designer can organize all the work, do the shopping, and field the glitches which inevitably arise in any major project. At the end of the day, your designer can present you with coordinating samples for your approval in a relaxed atmosphere.
