Brent has decades of art, home contracting, and interior design experience.
His primary goal is finding the true needs of each client and tastefully representing their specific personality. This ability puts him in the top of U.S. designers who can psychologically place themselves in their client’s shoes; to understand individual personal needs, goals and lifestyle. Working hard to search out your individual style means that there are no style limits! The finished project is always a remarkably personalized environment.
The longer term goal is to develop a Salem Wildflower Design team. This involves training and mentoring graduated designers to develop their talents and skills to the next levels. This would become the desired team to be working on upper-end homes and retail spaces.
Brent is an artist who has based his creative career using many artistic principles. This allows the eye to be lead in a pattern toward the best places in the room; such as the art, a spectacular view, etc… These principles also keep the room interesting for years without feeling overly busy. It is by applying all of the design elements that creates a perfect blend of light, color, line, texture, space, and form.
Coming from a home contractor background, Brent has inside experience working with building and remodeling teams. It is important to know what will look great, what is actually attainable and how to create it. It is also necessary to know when to bend without losing aesthetic impact. We believe that by involving you in the decision making process, it will have a stronger impact on your comfort.
Brent has become well known on the coast for extensive interior designs in many high-end homes, condominiums and retail stores. Many luxury vacation rentals, including Depoe Bay Vacation Rentals , use his services to keep units full each season. Brent has designed Oregon coast beach homes and then traveled out of state to redesign the owner’s primary residences.
His work has entered him and Wildflower Design and Interiors into several volumes of national “Who’s Who”. This listing enables accomplished professionals and executives to draw upon each others knowledge and skills. Brent redesigned the Newport showroom that led to its winning the national Hunter Douglas showroom award. You are invited to see his latest store in Salem.
