Mannington Laminate Flooring is mostly cellulose-based, a plentiful and renewable resource, and are made of high pre-consumer recycled content. Meticulous attention is paid to detail for a look that bears more than a passing resemblance to nature itself. Some of the woodgrain laminates are handscraped for richer texture and varying depths of grain. Lower gloss finishes show imperfections and soiling less.
Truly a green product! Our Natural Cork Flooring creates a warm, comfortable surface that is gentle underfoot, very durable and lasts for decades. The marks caused by furniture leave minimal residual indentation, less noticeable than on wood, carpet, or vinyl floors. It is a perfect sound and thermal insulator, and is impermeable to both liquids and gas. Consequently, it is inherently resistant to molds, mildews, and common pests such as termites. Suberin, an inherent substance of cork, is a natural insect repellent. Cork is a natural fire inhibitor and will not spread flame. It is non-toxic, does not off-gas, absorb dust, does not cause allergies, asthma or other respiratory diseases. Cork comes from a renewable source and is recyclable.
